Texas Bullying Laws with references. This is an excellent resource for parents who are trying to help our schools understand what legal obligation they do have. As there are few laws in Texas, there are some. Again, BISD does not acknowledge their activity and lack of are not in accordance with the law. Please people, I know it takes alot of effort- but we are HERE TO HELP. This can be seen on the State Stuff page.

Training in bullying prevention forms the foundation for successful program implementation and sustaining the program year after year. Training for the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program includes school administrators as well as every adult involved in overseeing, planning, and implementing the program, including:
* Bullying Prevention Coordinating Committee members
* substitute teachers
* after-school program providers
* school resource officers
* support staff
* playground supervisors and aides
* bus drivers
* cafeteria workers
* custodial staff
